HAZLET, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- In this program, an expert faculty will explain to attendees the deleterious consequences of ID, the importance of early and regular screening for ID in HF patients, and current clinical evidence and guideline recommendations. A case study will identify practical considerations and illustrate "real-world" challenges associated with implementation of IV therapy. Faculty members will provide solutions and describe best practices to overcome challenges and optimize patient care.

- Explain the prognosis for heart failure patients with iron deficiency (ID) and the need for regular screening for ID
- Interpret the clinical evidence with iron therapy for ID in patients with HF
