Thrive Leadership Institute founder will present a practical framework to help workforce professionals move employer conversations from job orders to talent pipeline strategy.
BLOOMFIELD, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- Anna D. Banks, Founder and Managing Director of Thrive Leadership Institute, Inc., has been selected to present at the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals' 2026 Business Services Academy, scheduled for August 17–19, 2026, in Las Vegas.
Banks' accepted session, "From Employer Needs to Talent Pipelines: A Practical Framework for Business Services Teams," will help business services professionals strengthen employer engagement, identify workforce gaps, and move beyond transactional job order conversations toward long-term talent pipeline development.
"Business services teams are being asked to do more than collect job orders," said Banks. "Employers need strategic workforce partners who can help them identify skill gaps, strengthen retention, connect to training solutions, and build talent pipelines that support both business growth and job seeker advancement. During the 60-minute session, participants will learn how to shift employer conversations from job orders to workforce solutions; identify skill gaps, training needs, retention challenges, and career pathway opportunities; and build employer engagement strategies that support business growth, upskilling, retention, and long-term workforce planning.
Participants will also receive The Employer-to-Pipeline Strategy Toolkit™, a practical resource that includes an employer conversation map, discovery questions, a skill gap worksheet, and a talent pipeline planner.
