The partnership will support families by helping provide cleaning supplies and handmade dishcloths to those with limited access to these essential items.
TOMS RIVER, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- Each Stitch Counts, a grassroots organization dedicated to helping families access essential cleaning products, is proud to announce a new partnership with Premier Yarns, a leader in yarn manufacturing. Premier Yarns will raise awareness for Each Stitch Counts and make a generous donation to support their mission of providing food pantries with essential cleaning products, like dish and laundry detergent, alongside handmade dishcloths donated by volunteer crafters.
Founded by a passionate crafter, Debbie Trainor, Each Stitch Counts began with a simple yet impactful idea: pairing handmade cotton dishcloths with bottles of dish detergent for families facing economic hardship. "What started as a small group of women knitting dishcloths has turned into something much bigger, and we are thrilled to have Premier Yarns join us in our mission.," says Debbie Trainor, founder and president of Each Stitch Counts. "Their support allows us to continue reaching more families in need, ensuring that hygiene products are never out of reach for those who need them most."

Since the inception, the organization has rapidly expanded, with over 1,500 members worldwide now involved in crafting, packaging and donating. Each Stitch Counts works with countless local organizations, including their first drop-off site, The HOPE Center, to distribute these vital products.
Thanks to the generosity of partners like Premier Yarns, Each Stitch Counts continues to make a lasting impact on communities facing financial challenges, helping to ensure that families have access to basic but crucial household items. About Each Stitch Counts
Each Stitch Counts began with the founder's love of knitting dishcloths. Cotton dishcloths serve many purposes in the home. They can be used to clean almost any surface, are washable and reusable. The natural progression was to add them to bottles of dish detergent to be given away. Research and contacts with local food pantries found that they needed these cleaning products and that no one was donating them. The regional food banks such as Fulfill does not provide these products. In 2021, the founder began to package a dishcloth with a bottle of dish detergent and bringing them to several local food pantries. It quickly became apparent that the need was greater than one person could supply. A Facebook group was founded which now has more than 1,500 members in the U.S. and around the world. The members supply the handmade dishcloths or package and donate them in their own areas.
