The golf outing will be held on May 1, 2023 at Pine Barrens Golf Club in Jackson.
TOMS RIVER, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- Mark your calendars FORE a great cause! HOPE Sheds Light (HSL), a family-focused, non-profit organization that offers education, resources and support to anyone impacted by substance use disorder, will host its 3rd Annual Golf Outing on May 1, 2023 at Pine Barrens Golf Club in Jackson with a special thanks to our Premiere Hope Sponsors, Manasquan Bank, and Woodhaven Lumber.
Participants can warm up on the driving range beginning at 11:00am followed by a pre-golf lunch and a Shotgun Start at 12:30pm. Golfers will test their skills in a scramble format and compete in "closest to the pin" and longest drive contests. Following a beautiful day on the greens, golfers will enjoy a dinner reception and awards immediately follow the outing. The event will also feature a 50/50 and gift raffle. Soft spikes and golf attire are required. The event will be held rain or shine. Sponsorship opportunities are available (visit golf.hopeshedslight.org). All sponsors receive recognition in the Reception Program. All proceeds benefit the mission of HOPE Sheds Light. Space is limited. RSVP no later than April 7, 2023.

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, HSL continues to grow and evolve, raising awareness and educating individuals, families and the community about the impact of substance use disorder in Ocean and Monmouth Counties and beyond. Through peer-to-peer coaching and support groups, wellness programs and educational programs for the whole family, HSL strives to reduce stigma in order to make way for new outcomes.
