I Am Not a Princess tells the extraordinary true story of Irina Meyer, a mother, Russian immigrant, entrepreneur, and woman of faith who embodies the values of perseverance, responsibility, and gratitude.
POMPTON PLAINS, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- New Jersey-based film distributor BayView Entertainment, Inc., is proud to announce the release of I Am Not a Princess.
Directed by award-winning filmmaker Salvatore Assenza, the film shines a light on the challenges of modern womanhood through the life of Irina Meyer, a Venture Capitalist, mother, and rebellious Russian-American who relentlessly works to create space for women in business.
It chronicles Meyer's journey through unimaginable hardships: childhood abuse and neglect, sexual harassment during her tenure as a senior executive in a major video game company, and the collapse of her marriage. Each trauma could have broken her. Instead, each time, Irina chose to rise stronger.
The key to Meyer's rise was forgetting herself and caring for others. As a highly successful venture capitalist and founder of multiple companies, Meyer has created thousands of jobs and become a role model for women seeking strength without compromise. It is this ethos—faith-driven, others-focused—that makes her story so inspiring and so relevant in today's divided world.
