The sixth episode of new audio series for dermatology heath care providers is live, featuring a discussion of treatments for psoriasis and other inflammatory diseases.
MONTCLAIR, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- With the first patient-administered biosimilar therapies now on the market for dermatologic indications, the Dermalorian™ podcast from the Dermatology Education Foundation (DEF) offers an in-depth look at what these agents are, how they compare to originators, and what their availability means for patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders.
Featuring dermatology physician assistant (PA) TJ Chao, MPAS, PA-C, and dermatology nurse practitioner (NP) Leigh Ann Pansch, MSN, FNP-BC, DCNP, the episode tackles the question of which agents are interchangeable with originator biologics and describes when and how pharmacists may be able to make a substitution.
The increasingly popular Dermalorian™ Podcast series is available on all major streaming services, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Amazon Music ("Alexa, play the Dermalorian Podcast!"). Past episodes have covered productivity and compensation for PAs and NPs in dermatology, tools and resources for education and clinical care, dermatologic diseases in people with skin of color, and strategies to manage itch.
