The vigil honors National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
TOMS RIVER, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October, Ocean Partnership for Children will host its sixth annual Domestic Violence Candlelight Vigil. The event will honor the resilience and strength of all those impacted and in memory of those who have lost their lives due to domestic violence.
The event will begin at 5:30 PM is taking place on Thursday, October 9, at 36 Washington St., in Toms River. Resources and support will be available starting at 5:30 PM, with guest speakers beginning at 6:00 PM.
In support of Providence House, we kindly invite attendees to bring a donation item to benefit survivors and their families. For more information about items to donate, click here. (https://www.oceanpartnership.org/)
Domestic Violence Awareness Month is observed every October as a way to unite advocates across the nation in their efforts to end domestic violence. To learn more, click here.

Founded in 2005, Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) is Ocean County's Care Management Organization (CMO). Its mission is to enhance the well-being of youth and their families through natural and community supports. OPC provides care coordination services for Ocean County youth up to the age of 21 who face mental health, substance use, and intellectual or developmental challenges. OPC aims to keep children and adolescents at home, in school, and in the community by connecting them to resources that meet their unique needs and help them achieve their goals.
