Mike Wallace, Chief Decarbonization Officer at Persefoni, stated that "GARP's SCR Program equips candidates with the necessary knowledge and skills to function effectively as sustainability and climate risk specialists."

Persefoni recently released its Persefoni Pro platform - an enterprise-grade tool that helps businesses accurately measure their carbon footprints and scope 1 and 2 emissions (scope 3 integration coming soon). By incorporating Persefoni Pro into the SCR Program, GARP will provide candidates with a practical understanding of how they can apply their greenhouse gas accounting and reporting skills to accelerate their organization's carbon neutrality and sustainability goals. This collaboration ensures that SCR candidates and certificate holders are well-equipped to lead their organizations in navigating climate-related challenges and opportunities.

Beth Creller, SCR Program Manager at GARP, emphasized that this partnership highlights their commitment to preparing professionals to address critical risks of our time.

Early registration for the October SCR Exam ends on July 31, with standard registration available until September 30. The SCR Exam will be administered globally from October 19 to November 2, providing professionals with a valuable opportunity to enhance their expertise in sustainability and climate risk management.
