Dive into the ideals and values of an emerging generations, with Equity and Engagement workshop designed to better understand the students of today are the leaders of tomorrow
SHIP BOTTOM, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- The Southern Ocean Chamber announces their Winter Non Profit Forum taking place at 10am on Friday, February 24 hosted at Stockton Manahawkin Campus. The Equity and Engagement Workshop will introduce and discuss the different ideals and values of the generations that sit in front of us today. The program will explore the concepts of a generational gap. Learn to engage Gen Z as volunteers, stewards or staff, with better understanding of this emerging generation of leaders.
For over a decade the Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce has presented informative forums created to engage local non profit organizations that serve the Long Beach Island Region. This workshop will be presented by Jennifer Monniger and Michele Peirce both teachers for the Brick Township School District for over twenty years. Dedicated to academic coaching and supporting innovative ways for faculty and student growth.

The event is scheduled to be held at Stockton Manahawkin Campus 712 East Bay Avenue. There is no fee to attend, but the organization representative must register with the Southern Ocean Chamber office by calling 609 494 7211, emailing kate@sochamber.com or www.visitLBIregion.com . The Non Profit Forum has been gathering and educating local nonprofits for over a decade and is presented by Southern Ocean Chamber Association, Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, Stockton University Manahawkin Campus & The Ocean County Culture & Heritage Commission. As always, Ocean County Culture & Heritage Commission will offer credit for recipients of the county art or history grants to be applied towards grant compliance.
