St. Stephen's Lutheran Church Hosts "Sunday Social" Event with Special Presentation to Gloucester County EMS and Woodbury Police

WOODBURY, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- Woodbury, NJ – St. Stephen's Lutheran Church is delighted to announce our upcoming "Sunday Social" event on Sunday, June 2, at 11:00 AM. This event will be held at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church, located at 230 N. Evergreen Avenue. We warmly invite the community to join us for fellowship, food, and gratitude.

Event Highlights:
  • Sunday Social: Held on the first Sunday of each month, Sunday Social is a free community meal, open to all to attend. It is a wonderful opportunity to gather with friends, family, and neighbors for socializing and enjoying a delicious meal. This month we will be kicking off summer with a BBQ full of burgers, dogs and your favorite summer side dishes.
  • Presentation to First Responders: We will present Gloucester County EMS and Woodbury Police with the stuffed animals our members have generously donated. These stuffed animals will be given to children in emergency situations to provide comfort and reassurance during distressing times.

"Every first Sunday of the month, we gather for our "Sunday Social", welcoming all community members into our fellowship hall for a free meal and good company," said Pastor Joe of St. Stephen's Lutheran Church. "This month, we are especially grateful to have Gloucester County EMS and Woodbury Police Department join us to accept the donations we have collected."
