BEDMINSTER, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- Registration is underway for The Center for Contemporary Art's fall art classes and workshops for adults, teens and children beginning September 9. Select classes will be offered virtual or in a hybrid format. Classes and workshops are offered for artists with all levels of expertise in a variety of media including oil and acrylic paint, pastel, watercolor, drawing, ceramics, and more.
More than fifty adult classes and workshops will be offered. Classes include Introduction to Drawing with Oscar Peterson, The Power of Pastels with Andrea Gianchiglia, Artist Studio: Your Choice with Lena Shiffman, Figure Drawing and Sculpting with Nicki Newton, Afternoon Oil Landscape with Gary Godbee, iPad Drawing and Painting with Jeremie Duval, Chinese Brush Painting with Diana Kung, and Beginner Watercolor with Wendy Hallstrom. Ceramic classes include Advanced Ceramics with John Reinking, Beginner Wheel with Jennifer Evans Arbo & Keiko Inouye, Morning Wheel and Handbuilding with John Reinking, Sculpture with John Reinking, and Tableware with Keiko with Keiko Inouye. New classes this fall include, Yoga with Aimee Mower Lally, Anime & Manga with Gene Kim, Digital Storytelling with Gene Kim, and Acrylic Painting with a Palette Knife with Smriti Sangal.

This fall there are many workshops to choose from including, Drawing Boot Camp with Andrea Gianchiglia, Quilling with Danielle D'Amico, Comic Book Illustration with Jay Green, Torn Paper Collage with Danielle D'Amico, Color Theory with Andrea Gianchiglia, Ceramic Luster Workshop with Jennifer Evans Arbo, The October Garden watercolor workshop with Doris Ettlinger, Watercolor with Pen & Ink with Lena Shiffman, Holiday Card Making with Wendy Hallstrom, and many more.
Fall classes for children and teens begin September 16. Classes for children ages 5-8 include Mixed Media, Painting In Depth, and Drawing In Depth. Ages 6-8 can learn to work on the wheel and hand building in Pottery class. Children ages 9-11 have the choice of Painting In Depth, Drawing In Depth, and Pottery. Intensive classes for teens allow students to dig deeper into the subjects of Mixed Media, Painting, Drawing, and Pottery.

Classes will also be offered for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other special needs beginning September 16. Students will explore a variety of art projects specifically geared to their interest and ability both in two- and three- dimensional approaches.
