Nash-Betts moved the audience with her candid reflection on overcoming childhood ridicule for her distinctive voice, saying, "It sounded like I needed to drink a bottle of lotion." Embracing her voice as her superpower, she inspired attendees to celebrate their uniqueness.
- Mahershala Ali, the two-time Oscar winner, was honored with the Muhammad Ali Voice of Humanity Honor, presented by Moonlight writer Tarell Alvin McCraney. Ali delivered a deeply personal speech, revealing how Muhammad Ali's legacy inspired his choice of name when he converted to Islam. His words resonated with a profound sense of humility and grace that captivated the room.
- The Voice Arts Lifetime Achievement Award went to legendary voiceover star Joe Cipriano, whose iconic voice has graced American homes through FOX, CBS, the Emmy Awards, and countless game shows. The honor was presented by Nita Whitaker, wife of the late, great voiceover pioneer Don LaFontaine, adding an emotional and historic touch to the ceremony.
