This Thanksgiving, Shore House reflects on the generosity, compassion and unwavering support that continue to make a difference in the lives of its members
LONG BRANCH, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- As Thanksgiving approaches, Shore House is taking a moment to express its heartfelt gratitude to the members, staff, donors, volunteers and community partners who have stood by the nonprofit organization throughout the year, especially during a time of unexpected challenges.
Following the significant damage to its Long Branch clubhouse earlier this year, Shore House experienced firsthand the strength of a community coming together. From generous donations and temporary meeting spaces to countless acts of kindness, the outpouring of support has helped Shore House continue its mission of providing connection, purpose and opportunity for adults living with mental illness.
"This Thanksgiving, we are especially grateful for the incredible people who make Shore House what it is," said Rich Ambrosino, Executive Director. "Our members inspire us every day with their resilience and determination, and the generosity of our supporters reminds us that we are never alone. We are truly thankful for everyone who has helped us through this challenging time."

Shore House extends a special thank-you to Rising Treetops, St. James Church, Clean Ocean Action and the many individuals and organizations whose kindness has made a meaningful difference. Above all, the organization celebrates its members, whose strength, friendship and sense of community remain at the heart of everything Shore House does.
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, Shore House will also open its doors to members for a holiday meal, ensuring that no one has to spend the day alone. This annual tradition reflects the organization's commitment to fostering a sense of belonging and helping members stay connected, especially during the holidays when feelings of isolation can be heightened.
As the holiday season begins, Shore House looks ahead with gratitude and hope, knowing that the continued compassion of its community will help strengthen its mission for years to come.
