Gifts, donations, and community partnerships will help bring holiday joy to Ocean County youth and families
TOMS RIVER, N.J. - JerseyDesk -- Ocean Partnership for Children (OPC) is inviting residents, businesses, and community organizations to support its Holiday Gift Drive by purchasing gifts, making monetary donations, and helping connect local youth and families with holiday support.
The drive supports children and families served by OPC who are navigating mental health, behavioral health, substance use, or intellectual and developmental challenges. Many also face financial hardships that can make gifts and holiday traditions difficult to afford. Through the drive, OPC aims to help every child feel seen, supported, and remembered during the holiday season.
Community members can purchase items from OPC's Holiday Wish List at https://giftlist.com/l/PD9LiwZF33 to bring added joy, comfort, and hope to local children and families.

Additional Ways to Support the Holiday Gift Drive
Businesses, organizations, and individuals can participate in the following ways:
1. Host a fundraiser. Follow the example of First Date Coffee Shop in Toms River by organizing a GoFundMe campaign or collecting monetary contributions through a business or social media to purchase items from OPC's Holiday Wish List.
2. Spread the word. Share information about the Holiday Gift Drive and Wish List on social media and with friends and family.
3. Display a flyer. Post a drive flyer at a workplace or storefront. Businesses may also offer an incentive, such as a 10% off coupon for customers who show proof of a Wish List purchase.
4. Become a collection site. Join Fun Bags Cornhole, Modern Psychiatry, All Saints Tattoo, and other participating locations by serving as a gift drop-off site.
5. Make a monetary donation. Donate directly to OPC to help purchase remaining Wish List items and give every youth an opportunity to experience the joy of the holiday season.
